OVERFLOWING
Feelings overflow, A river's stream,
Brimming bowl, Emotions beam.
If only the heart were a faucet's might,
I'd turn the handle, shut out the night.
But nature's tides won't stay confined,
Stealing words, leaving silence defined.
Whom do I reach when silence speaks?
Comforting voice, gentle seeks.
Many around, Trust heart none bounds,
The one who heard my heart's every beat,
Is lost, no blame, No bitter defeat.
I breathe in storms, Stand firm on ground,
While sunrise whispers secrets unbound.
Ache deepens, Longing for freedom's call,
A path sincere, where heart can enthrall.
It ends with me;
The past I release, Vows once sworn, no longer my peace.
They drift to the world, fade like foam,
I lived there once, but it's not my home.
Love's eternal, yet not mine to claim,
I speak plain truth, As heart and breath proclaim.
I left behind smiles, Tears, and years,
Unspoken weight, Vanished, disappearing fears.
On sand, I write with sorrow's hand,
Waves erase the strand, as moments stand.
Yet tied, Gently though, To my fate,
Accept or not, Layers of lie, Truth behind.
Not denied, Fate weaves a thread, binding yet free,
No hatred stirs, no heart led astray.
I open gates, where barriers fall,
Leaving to live, freedom's gentle call,
Beyond all...
